Biography

Panda Records was established in 1999 by three people (pok, june, june) looking to open up a forum for independent and experimental musicians to exchange ideas and experiences. Sick of the bland, mainstream corporate music of Bangkok, these three started something for their friends, and the community at large, purely out of their love of listening and playing music.

Panda Records is on a mission to encourage and spread music coming from the independent underground through DIY aesthetics, staying leagues away from the influences of money and business that's been disheartening true artists and musicians in Thailand for a long time. Panda Records is not in it for the money, but for the fun and fulfillment creative music can bring.
